Open Season

Went out with my cousins today.. I did not expect to watch both Happy Feet and Open Season. Nor did I expect it to be the same jovial company. Nonetheless it is another day that I cherish.

All rite. Comments on Open Season. It appears very much like an Over the Hedge wannabe. However I cannot give it 4 stars. 3.5 at the most. For sheer farcical laughter. I can swear I broke out in idiotic laughter numerous times. Our friend Eliiot, the one-antler deer, led the comedious bunch along with his buddy, the bear. The porcupine and ducks are excellent supporting comedians. The farcical scenes are hardly memorable but they suffice as laugh-on-the-spots material. Obviously, the crux of the hilarity lies in the end, where the forest animals battle with the hunters. The hunters became the hunted due to animalistic reprisal.

Essentially, not worth paying $9.50 for this show. However I will not mind watching it on a weekday and laugh hysterically for a while. Life is a joke anyway, bring on the laughter......
