A busy day...
Yesterday was another typical day, where I had 3 appointments. Busy as the day was, its such days that I enjoy myself.
Met my buddy for lunch at Bugis.. I must try and purge her fickle-mindedness cos deciding on food always seems to be the impediment to my gastronomic satisfaction. Eventually we settled on Lerk Thai, one of my frequent Thai restaurant haunts.
Then the Bitch Club congregation.. As usual Bitch-Y was the earliest and she went shopping
again.. Hung around in Shaw tcc for hours. Quite an economical investment... Paid around 5 bucks for a cup of coffee and we rotted there till Bitch-B came 2 hours later, and beyond.. Then dined at Spagghedies.. Had the laughs our lives there, bitching about weird names on the streets.. Life is never boring with them around.
My day ended off with a food hunt. Together with Justin, we walked like miles to Glutton Bay, outside the Esplanade and had oyster omelette (YUCks!) and murtabak. Not exactly the most impressive dishes I ever had despite his recommendation. (Thats rare..) Dessert was cakes at Westin Stamford... Sounds expensive... But the cakes are half-priced after 10pm so we only paid like $13 for 4 cakes... I should frequent that place at night. Cheap and tasty cakes. The chocolate ones are really sinful but worth the tastebuds. Tiramisu is delicious and my all-time favourite. All that's left on the list will be the chocolate crater and their cheesecake.
I expect to put on some weight after this mini-binge. Please stop raining so I can go swimming....... :S I was never fattened by food and I do not intend to start being horizontally challenged.
