Was raining today but I do not find any reason to bitch about it
The title speaks for itself. Had a driving lesson after work and planned to swim after that. Usually I will be cursing and swearing when it rains torrentially during these two need-to-have-good-weather events but I could not really be bothered la. Just take it as it is. Drive in the rain lor; treat it as rigorous practice. Swim in the rain lor; No rain is gonna disrupt my nearly non-existent exercise regime.
So there I go. Driving in the rain tends to make me a little more tense. But Im also more alert and definitely much slower. I travelled at 20km/h more than half the time. At least he did not screw me today. I did not give him a chance to. I just became a total safety-conscious imbecile and drove. Not overtaking unless he tells me to. We did a couple of U-turns on the main road today. Irritates me to go round in circles but it was worth it practising this vital skill.
Nonetheless, I still do not like to drive.
When I told him that I wanna alight at the pool for a swim, he found it weird. Especially on a rainy, very rainy day. Heck it.. I went to swim anyway. Invited by an empty pool (there's water of cos, jus no ppl), I thot it was an apt time to relish in solitude. Which I did till some guy plunged in on my third lap. Anyway the water was pretty warm. Since water does not conduct heat easily, the rain will not colden (is there such a word?) the water so soon.
Anyway work is getting really better. Half a day more and the files we are preparing for will be ready for dispatch. There seems to be a plethora of food in the office, again. I still maintain my stand that one can never starve in my office. Bosses encourage consumption and the only way to feel hungry at work is when one chooses not to eat. Given my workaholism (it comes now and then) and my need for 6 meals a day, I think its not surprising why I still feel hungry in spite of the spread.

HAHA you are so Simon. :P
Glad your driving lesson improved! And wow you swam in the rain? Wouldn't it be like really cold? I mean not the water but the air, 'cause it's raining and everything.
