Im back again...

Im back again.. The hiatus of non-blogging is due to technical discrepancies which still appears unsolved. Anyway its fun to make others crave for entries rather than routine posting albeit the recent dwindling number of comments.

Firstly, I wish to comment on the morbid sight I saw on the Straits Times a few days ago, probably Monday. A groggy start to the Monday blues was shattered by the sight of no-man's land. Felled trees and houses, barren lifeless aridity... screamed from the Straits Times headlines. Reading down came the enlightenment. "Kansas struck by tornado" (Paraphrased).. Its pretty scary to have such a glimpse, of what may just be be common sight decades later, on a Monday morning. Kudos to ST for photographing such an alarming picture.

I really sympathise with the Kansians (rite?) for their disaster. Be it the destruction of property or having to stomach such a sight everyday. If something out there is trying to show spoilers for the future of our polluted planet, they are doing an extremely good job.

Speaking of how terrible the weather is, my peers chose to lament on how lifeless our little red dot is (The metaphor is used so as to ambiguify the subject of discussion. After all, showing signs of contempt for the wrong things can lead to legal consequences, or so I gathered from hearsay regarding internal security)---there's definitely some satire in this, and probably more to come.

The little red dot has morphed into a place of un-rest. Inhabitants claim they have no time to spend their disposable income, provided they have enough to spend in the first place. Mutual neglect is rampant and relationships are divided due to lack of true blue communication. Window shopping , which used to be the talk of the town, has turned into cold, boring broth waiting for Goldilocks to heat it up and add more interesting garnishing. Work dominates life; just what past industrialists aimed for.... These points sound rather insubstantial but their subjective validity depends on personal experiences.

I heard over 5 people describing their lackadaisical life, due to the constraints, stifling workpace and other factors, in just one week..... The Merit_ _ _ _ _ y policy (or possibly renamed as Elit_ _ m) has become cat fights and animal politics; At least animals have time-outs. And they do not seem to have increased their pace of walking by ONE-THIRD in the past two decades.

Boring place which is probably a top-ranking habitat but with lacklustre social environs. What have we done to create such a dull gem? Is this really what we have on our platter?

Truth be told, lamentation happens at this age of growing 20s; When we feel a surge in independence but hardly enough power and ability to make things happen. Circumstances have turned cold on us and conformity beckons to us "Its my way, or the highway".. We need more highways... ERP is going up..

Disclaimer: For the frequent readers of my blog, I apologise if the language sounds more dense (more absurd?) this time round. However, I do think I have portrayed criticism in the nearly-most creative manner I can conjure up. Forgive the abrupt ending, but here's the period.
