Food Appreciation
Went out with Justin today. First stop, The Soup Spoon at Raffles City basement. I ordered Tomato with Basil while he ordered Meatless Minestrone. Apparently the Minestrone did not meet up to the expectations of his fussy taste buds. It was one of the better minestrone I tasted but then I do not have as much food experience as him so I give it to him. Tomato with Basil is creamy indulgence for the vegetarians.
I found out that besides gobbling my food, I am quite a sucker at food appreciation. I did not even know that the bread I chomped on was sourdough. I just knew that it was great bread. Like duh.. Unless its mouldy, it cant go wrong.
Then we had Ben and Jerry's next. New York Choco Fudge, as recommended by another food aficionado friend of his,is GREAT... Chunky lumps of chocolate tempt yr taste buds to defy any strict diets. I got the Dublin Mudslide (the house best-seller) instead. Has some exquisite taste (I think liquor..). Thats about all I can remember about Dublin Mudslide cos as usual, I do not take note of what I eat. New York Fudge is better somehow. Try it ppl!! Other recommendations from me will be Strawberry Shortcake and Oatmeal sth (forgot the name!!).
Lastly we went to the Coffee Club. I ordered the Ethiopian Yirchigaff (somehow I can spell the hard word but forget which country it came from. I think its Ethiopia, starts with an E). Justin ordered the light Brazillian Bourbon. Somehow, they smell and taste the same to me. Conversely it makes a whole lot of diff to Justin. Score one again for the food aficionado. I can just wallow in despair as he criticises my ignorance with more lethality than my trusty SAW 9 (SAW is sth like a machine gun).
Lastly we took a walk in Suntec as we bitched about the army and anything under the sun. He is a great conversationalist who never fails to make me laugh at his crap. Despite some contrasting diff in our beliefs eg food, gals, demand for branded goods etc, I think we can do well with each other's company. Im an excellent listener,food gobbler,pig.. And he is an excellent crapper,food taster,part-time pig slayer..
Guess who the pig is... :o

I must come up with something intelligent to say the next time I eat with him :p
Nonetheless,Justin helped me add definition and a range of goodness to my gobbling experiences. At least I "level up" in food tasting today.

Oh my god. I mean I've always known you eat a hell lot but...WOW. This is like...amazing. You and your friend (I presume Justin = lawl) are mad! Haha.
But I love the Dublin Mudslide! Okay I totally miss Ben and Jerry's now. HEY YOU STILL OWE ME A SCOOP OF B&J'S for ganging up on me with KW after my mock trial! Bwahahahaha. I'm holding you to your comment. Never make a gratuitous promise to a law student; you won't be able to get away. :P (Okay, maybe you can get away if the law student is as stupid as me, but let's pretend that's not the case.)
Okay I really should study. I keep forgetting that tomorrow got exam. Sianzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
