Battle of Wits

Met yal on Sat afternoon. I like meeting her cos she's uniquely one-of-a-kind. Somehow she seems to deny it but its refreshing to hear her piece on certain issues. And we can bitch well together. Its no wonder we are in the Bitch Club of our class.

Then I met up with my buds to watch BATTLE OF WITS. Some Andy Lau movie. Thats all I knew before watching the movie. It was a historical movie with the "Art of War" elements in there. Essentially, its a movie with a pacifist approach. The war is used to show political backstabbing and the cons of war. I did not expect the civil strife shown in the movie. Also, some of the innovative war strategies in the show make me wonder how the ancient strategists can be so perceptive, and sometimes foolish, in their speculations.

Can pass as a witty show, befitting the title. If u like scenes of medieval Chinese battle coupled with strategic battlefied tactics,topped with a pinch of love, this show shld be an apt watch.

I could hardly walk after the movie. My left knee felt like its twisted. Maybe its because I did not warm up well and I forgot to cool down after my 4km jog on fri.Or maybe cos I sat the wrong way in the cinema. Or maybe I am experiencing accelerated aging. Oooo the atropy... Will I end up being a v miserable old man 50 yrs later?
I shld jus swim more often... Give me the time!!
